Samsung YP-Z5 4GB Silver MP3 for £100

Comments

  • Good price as it's bundled with portable speakers! :) But I've heard the control pad is a b1tch to use as it's requires to different levels of pressure to do different functions which is difficult to get used to.

A good alternative (which I have bought) is the SanDisk e260 (also 4GB)which I bought off amazon for £99 free delivery to use up my £30 amazon voucher.

  • Hi

I bought my son the Samsung 2GB version a while ago which he has been pleased with.

Just consoled myself following the Amazon nano 8GB cancellation fiasco with the SanDisk Sansa m240 1Gb MP3 Player from Amazon priced at £29.99 - £9.99 using the gift certificate.

Could this be a good budget buy?

    Enjoy

  • The sandisk sansa e and m series are pretty good sturdy players and very very good for the price.

IIRC the e series play movies (my e260 does) and the m series only music. So yes, £9.99 for a 1GB e series mp3 player is a steal! But depending on how much music you want to put on it, I would personally go for 2GB or 4GB.

I got one of these a few months ago from Costco and it's a superb MP3 player. Mine was about £111 and was a good price then, so £100 seems very good.

i think 2GB would be ok for me as long as i could easily move tracks to and from between the pc and the mp3 player
