Hope you find having a diary helpful!
Sounds like you are going to be having lots and lots of no spend days if you only have enough cash to buy your travel cards!
Good Luck
Well thats the plan really, i get paid on the 5th, which to be honest isn't that far away really. So i am hoping i am going to be far too busy with uni work, and crossing things off my list for the next few weeks that i won't spend anything! Then when i do get paid, i am planning on buying a 4 weekly bus pas, as that works out cheaper than a weekly one x4. Then leaving myself £20 for the month to spend on what i like, everything else is going to repayments and this month some craft things i will need for making cards/presents for christmas!0 -
Well done for starting the diary. Please be careful you don't leave yourself too little money and have to borrow off family. Just think how good it will be when you start putting cross lines through those debts!!MFW 2026 #5007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

I listed all my dvd box sets on Amazon the other day, and after thinking about it i put all my Buffy ones on too. I wasn't too sure about selling them.
But i have made the promise to myself when i get debt free i will buy the whole set (y'know the one all the seasons are in one set?) with cash!!
So far last night on amazon i have sold, 1 OC box set, 1 Buffy box set and 2 Xbox games, grand total £25 odds, have transfered it into my bank. Which will help bring it back up, currently £18 over my overdraft limit
.
Going to post them later on today, right now i really need to make a start on this essay, it's due on next Monday and i've just realised i only have today and sunday to work on and finish it :eek:0 -

Things have been good the past few days, sold some more box sets and games on amazon, and have bids on my ebay stuff!
Not really spent anything, i bought a subway on Tuesday night for my dinner which is about it. Found an on thermos flask in the kitchen, and have been filling it up with coffee to take to uni with me, instead of getting a starbucks every morning! Also been making sandwiches for uni/work as well!
Had to phone in sick to work tonight, had a wee bit of a melt down earlier with uni work. I had to get it all done for tomorrow though, and sat here for 2-9 doing it all! Glad it's all done now, and i can relax...well until my presentation tomorrow!!!
Have been making some good progress on all my wee challenges i joined, and i'm really enjoying crossing things off my lists at the moment! I have just had a nice wee Lush bath, going to read my book then bed for me!0 -
So update time!!
I was working Saturday morning, then went to my dads. Stayed there sat night, spent some time with my little sister. Come home Sunday afternoon, blitzed my room!! Moved all my summer clothes into the drawers, and all my winter clothes into the wardrobe. Also have a black bag full of clothes for the charity shop, and one full of clothes for Ebay. Listed some of it last night, going to list more tonight after dinner.
Have sold more dvds, games etc on Amazon and Ebay from last week, posted them today and have transfered the money into my account, the first lot from last week should be hitting my bank tomorrow. *fingers crossed* Then that is hitting the New Look card.
Today i had to go into uni and get some group work done, so we were there for about 3 hours, the went to Primark to get brown face cloths for making Reindeers, as gifts for Christmas. Then had an appt with the nurse at 4, then my mum picked me up and we went to Morrisons to get some bits for dinner. Got my cereal, actimel, youghurts and green tea, i usually buy these myself too, so i was quite happy my mum was fine getting me them. Also got a phone call from work, now doing an extra shift tomorrow night too, meaning i am now working 18 hours this week!
Now i am away to get my dinner, put my work shirts in the washing machine, then list things on ebay.0 -

Have now updated my signature to reflect all the payments i made today, hopefully will keep this updated as often as possible. I think by adding it all to my signature will keep me more motivated to get rid of them quicker!! As i will be seeing them every day!
I also managed to set up the online payment thing, with my online banking for my old overdraft today, I phoned Iqor and got their account details for that!
Just waiting for all the statements to come in for the cards, so i can do the same with them, as their details are on the back, and i don't have old ones lying around.
Paid £40 to my new look card today, which was a first I only ever pay the minimum payments to the cards, only £56.99 left on it, so that is going to be my first mini challenge.
After that i am going to tackle my credit card, which has a ridiculous 36.9% on it, it's the capital one classic card, meant to help rebuild your credit rating!0
