Ideas for short term money making?

has anyone got some ideas how I can make some money before I start my new job in November?
I live in Bristol I have good admin skills, I am a qualified Financial Adviser, own car, willing to do any sort of work but to be viable to offset childcare costs I need to earn £8-10 per hour.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

  • Could you offer to complete self assessment tax forms for individuals? Deadline for HMRC working out your tax was 30 Sept. Deadline for submission or be fined is January (think it is 31st)

You could do limo driving. Only problem is it's not guaranteed work - but it's 8-10 quid an hour and easy work - I used to really enjoy it.

Had loads of trips to lap dancing clubs when I drove for last company, and even went in a few. (sitting in the car for hours on end in the winter can get a bit tedious). The girls there told me they earnt much more than a tenner an hour and tried to persuade me to join them but dh wouldn't let me  :rotfl: Being a david though it probably wouldn't be your cup of tea :rotfl:
Debts @ lightbulb moment (13/06/2006) - £59,842.23  All commercial debts now clear!!! :T Debts April - £20,000 to family (incl extra £10k borrowed for house deposit). DFD - Aug 2014
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    Goal of the month - £500 on groceries for family of 5 - Apr 2011 - £620! :( May - £454.85 so far.

bootsales on a weekend, ebay during the evening - just a couple that let you keep the childcare costs down and get money from your junk or help you to downsize your wardrobe etc
    😁
  • As the others said, the best way of earning some more cash is to join an agency for the short term and then sell some of your stuff too.

I've been thinking about dabbling in ebay, but not sure whether it is worth it now with the increase in postage....
  • You could try sigining up for Quidco and do some daily clicks and possibly try some of the betting sites for major cashback :)
