Vitamins from Poundland vs Boots

Sorry if this is the wrong place.
But I saw vitamins in poundland, the usual calcium, magnesium etc etc, and then in Boots they are around £4 a pot.
Does anyone buy vitamins from Poundland...is it any different from Boots? Or are they just not worth it?
Thanks guys!

Have you looked whats in them? They will be exactly the same. In Boots you are paying for the brand!
I was spending £4 a time on pregnacare vitamins then saw that Asda did pregnancy vitamins. They contain exactly the same amounts of vits and cost me a grand total of 5p (clearence items) - the only difference is that as they are kept in a box all together rather than in individual pop through packs - they smell quite strong so I have to hold my nose or they make my nausea worse.
Hope this helps x
Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

Yeah, I did wonder this. Because I've started to buy Boots branded paracetomol and ibruprofen. 16p !
So vitamins is vitamins...adn there's no such thing as 'quality' of vitamins?
Thanks, I just wonder why cod liver oil is £7 -10 ! And Poundland is soo much cheaper.0 -
Another (cheapish) place for viatmins is Numark Chemists. I bought 30 starflower oil capsules (for my face after reading a thread on here) for £1.49. They're big capsules too (unlike the Vit E ones I bought in Wilkinsons)0

i've seen them and tbh i don't really use vit's i will sometimes take vit c but thats it.
i don't know why but for some reason i'm very nervous about buying them from there. the same as i won't buy paraacetamol or any medication. i really don't know why. but supermarkets can be just as reasonable0 -
There's no need to be nervous....any generic company making medicines has to be licenced and the tablets will be fine. It always amazes me when people pay several pounds for a pack or nurofen when a pack of supermarket own ibuprofen are so cheap for exactly the same medicine. Same as cold medicines...most of them are paracetamol plus a decongestant and all do the same thing0

I have the Asda pregnancy vitamins but mine were 50p! I'm not pregnant, nor intending to be, but they were cheap for multivitamins.Have you looked whats in them? They will be exactly the same. In Boots you are paying for the brand!

I`ve used the Poundland vitamins for the last few years without any problems at all. I have now convinced my OH to change over from more expensive brands just last month.
He takes several a day and over the month this has saved him so much money:D
He was spending at least £5 on each bottle!
