    Our assessment rocketed when we had our son (but then later came down when my husband went from self employed to employed); we also naively thought that when baby #2 came along, that payments would decrease slightly...oh no!! Because we were getting extra child tax credits, they took this as an income and the CSA payments went up again!!??
