Love Matalan...DH and DS2 have had great casuals from there at reasonable prices, and I love all their Home stuff. They will prob start having some of the Xmas sets in now too.
Will try and go and see whats on offer.

Hi Fibabe - Any idea if the coats are going to be in the sale?

I'm after a camel coloured Jeff and Co one (there's also the same coat but in a gross grey colour with black covered buttons) - dont suppose u know if it might be reduced?

(i know t's a shot in the dark asking about specifics but thought worth a try!)

I not 100% sure, as I'm a homeware manager and don't do fashion, but generally the coats don't go down in the sale until Chirstmas. They may be on offer in the next mailer catalogue which starts about 25th October. We don't know what will be in that yet though.

It's always worth poping down to your local store incase I'm wrong though and they are half price. I wouldn't want you to miss out!

The 50% off items are:
All sun creams and sun products (wipes,fan's, travel wallets etc)
Selected mirrors including a £50 faux leather, brown down to £20.
Selected vases and faux flowers in bouquets and in vases.
Selected cushions
Selected kids lunch boxes and bottles such as bang on the door, newtons law, spiderman, Dennis the Mennis
Microsoft towels in blue, cream and aqua. (These are really soft and I've put some aside for myself!)
Selected candles including some 'church candles' in various sizes.
A few clocks and photo frames.
Selected luggage.
Plain dye 50%cotton 50%poly bedding in a stone colour. Sheets, valances and pillowcases.
4.5 tog duvets in king and superking.

I'm sure there's more but that's all that I can think of off the top of my head.

Selected lines from the summer sale that were 50% of have now gone to 75% off. Have a look in the clearance area for these items. All new sale stock will be on the front ends of the stands throughout the department.

These are genuine bargains. They have not been bought in especially for the sale like some places that I know of do. They have been on sale at the full price for a good few weeks if not months.
