Kicked by the bank of the black donkey

I have a graduate account with the above bank and this comes with a very nice £2000 interest free overdraft for the first year. I opened mine in July 2005. The conditions said it reduces by £500 each year on the anniversary of the account. I went to see a very nice young man at the home of the black donkey for an annual review in July and he said - the overdraft limit is on your account for the whole of the next year at the same level and doesn't come up for review again until July 2007. I queried this but he said no, the 2K limit seems to apply for the whole of the next year too. I took him at his word and of course the OD is maxed. Then today I get a letter from the said bank telling me the OD limit is being cut by £500 from 3rd November!!!! The letter by the way was dated September but only came today. Don't know what I'm going to do as obviously I don't have a spare £500 lying around and no way can I get that before 3rd November. I will phone them tomorrow and see what I can do. I guess it's s*ds law - one step forward and ten steps back.
You - only you- will have stars that can laugh :rotfl:
