Not another one of those DSG after 10pm bargains is it?? i.e. looks great but there are none in stock anywhere, because their system stops checking properly after 10pm.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

but is this any good and is it better than the woolworths 32" LCD ?Man who stands on toilet is high on pot. - Old chinese proverb.0

Plasma is traditionally better than LCD... plus it is 30% bigger. I know which I would go for.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -

its also non HD, so at least 30% less lines.....in fact, its only 480 lines (PAL broadcasts are 625 lines), so any UK TV you put on it will be squashed to fit.0 -
Plasma is a completely different technology and you cannot compare lines like that.
a) you won't find any stock of this screen anywhere in the country. Nobody will get one
b) these are really crap sets. They aren't even worth that much.0 -

What utter rubbish, of course you can.
Lines are Lines, there is no "differing technology" when it comes to counting them.
Granted I stated 625 lines which of course is an interlaced figure so not an absolute true comparison (althogh an identical conclusion), but to be more accurate, UK PAL Progressive scan is 576 Lines - This set is only physicaly capable of 480 Lines (thats US NTSC Progressive Scan), so the only way it can deal with the missing lines is to either drop them or compress them, and obviously losing the top and bottom is not an option.
But we agree on one thing though, this set is overpriced rubbish0 -
Temporarily Out of StockI'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
