So lets restart this thead again - hopefully all will be revealed in the spending review on wednesday - or will it be ignored - or just set aside to be decided on at a later date - or has it aleady been sneaked in stealth style - or is it a fact and only the date in 2016 is to be decided - or something else?

Currently, as far as I'm aware, its still set up to come in at 2024. The proposals have gone quiet on the 2016 side. Whether this means they have yet to be announced or have been quietly dropped, I don't know.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Ah excellent news - its still 65 - i feel so much better now, however what about this:
State Pension age changes
The government is looking at the current timetable for increasing the State Pension age from 65. No decision has yet been made as to how the timetable may change, and any change would require the approval of Parliament. Your pension forecast will be based on the existing rule

Its your fault. You talked it up. Mr Osborne forgot all about it but he just happened to be reading the forum and it reminded him
