Please can I have some time off?? coz I've now got a "dolly" on my thumb and it leaks everytime I pick something up.

No, sorry. While vacuuming my red carpet I have smashed off a finger nail and that blooded too.. I just glued mine.. it stings like a fooker but it stopped blooding..

Off to inflict more pain on myself tomorrow by having it soaked off (normally I'd peel the acrylic coating off but there is no way I am risking making this worse) and a tip glued on as it has broken the whole of my own nail off..

I now have the whole downstairs presentable.. apart from a little bit of middle room still to vacuum and the pole to go back up!

OK pigpen I had my pout and OH made a cuppa and some lunch, so I'm going to try left-handed ironing. Woohoo at least it'll be different.

    Put water on for pasta

Dsd2 is going to look after Ds2 so i can go to his parents evening so i don't have to take him with me. I'm going to have a quick coffee, make a tuna pasta thingy and get myself ready before 5 hopefully.

Hello :) after falling off last week (which turned into a manic week!) I am back in but while DP wanted to help today, well a bit, thought I would make most of it and post later. He even picked up the vacuum cleaner for a short while. We managed to get under the stairs empty, which of course means he's piled stuff up as usual for me to sort out. He completed some paperwork (should have been done months ago) which he's now misplaced before going to college but of course it is MY fault ..... Actually I just spotted it, on top of a unit I can't reach! Too late now will have to take it tomorrow.

Right anyway tonight I am now going to plod on with the kitchen while he is at college the help him do the dining room.

Oh yes just remembered I found a credit note for dunelm I thought I lost, wondering if they have anything suitable as gifts for the C word

Right off to sort some of the kitchen out and find something for tea, toodles x
One day I might be more organised...........

Cleared 3 binbags of junk and paper from the boys room. You can even see (dirty) carpet!

Today is de-clutter and put away. I am guessing it will take at least another day of this before I can start actually cleaning.

The state I have let things slide into is both shameful and depressing :(. I can and will sort the worst of it out this week.
