It's a funny one but stick with it - environmentally friendly panto(ish)

I'm no good at finding bargains etc. so I read often and post very rarely.

I see the BBC are doing a live show of the Blue Planet and it is in the North of England at panto time this year.

I guess they're not having live whales or anything as it is a screen with an orchestra. Anyway, I was thinking, I want to educate the kids on saving our planet etc. and the overriding message of the blue planet was that all that amazing wildlife will be lost if we don't change our ways. I couldn't get the kids to sit still for the tv series but I reckon I could for a live show.

It doesn't seem too expensive, about 70-80 quid for a family ticket, which is nothing compared to most shows on at that time of year and might make a more environmentally friendly outing than the panto.

there, I told you it was spurious and I realise it's not a moneysaving thing but I thought I'd share it anyway.
