situation is mine and oh overdraft with lloyds is slightly over and im having problems containing it because of the charges they keep adding!!
Anyway i acknowledge this debt and am paying it at the rate i told them i could afford (which they were not happy with)
i have written to them asking them only to communicate to me by mail..
so why do they feel the need to call me up to 12 times a day and my oh 12 times a day
in the evening at 9pm on a sunday at 8pm on a saturday at 8am!!
i took a call from them on my landline at 8pm last night i didnt even need to ask who was calling the poor english gave it away!!!
i refused to confirm i was miss xxxx or my dob or address and reminded them that i had sent a letter asking them to write to me only...
i also gave him a peice of my mind for calling me on a sunday evening and told him to put a note on his system for the next shift worker not to call me!!!
he said he could see i had asked to be contacted in writing but the account couldnt be discussed in writing!!!! This is a new one for me!!!
i told him that these calls are harrasment and i appreciate his only doing his job but stop ringing...
Reminded him about my rights after requesting communication in writing and he said there is no such thing and they can call me regardless.
i lost my rag told him he obvisly needed training along with the other donuts from is call centre...
i understand his only doing his job but im soooo mad...
Phew Rant over sorry if hardly any of it makes sense!!!
note: lloyds havent called me today!!!

Sorry to hear about your issues with Lloyds.
I am having probs with them but on a smaller scale. They upgraded my account to a Gold Account without my permission or acknowledgement. Was charged £7 for this. Called telephone banking to cancel. Not a prob they said. We'll refund this £7 too! Well gee thanks I said, that's kind of you considering that I didn't ask for the service in the first place.
Next month, the same thing happens again. Went into the branch and asked for the charges to be refunded and to downgrade to regular account. It took about 15 mins of questions and form filling to cancel this before the customer service woman told me she would request the £7 x 2 months be refunded. It felt like I was asking for the earth not for money that they had taken without asking.
Blinking cheek if you ask me!!!
Rant all you like.... gives us all a chance to join in with our tales of woe!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
Both my OH and myself owe Lloyds TSB so you can imagine how many calls we were getting in a day. But if you carry on not giving them all your details as requested and ask them to quote say your sort code or the 3rd 5th and 7th number of your account number or anything else you can think of like the ammount of your last payment /charge befor having any form of conversation they tend to leave the calls to the very softly and well spoken members of the team and the calls quickly reduced down to 2-3 a week for each of us. They still have a day now and again when they call more often but hey I can answer the phone with a happy hello nowa days instead of a tentative one.

HARRASSMENT - HARRASSMENT - HARRASSMENT:mad:  :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
