CSA for over 16yr old

My husbands daughter is over 16 now and dropped out of college but now going back on a short course for over 12hrs a week.
CSA might be involved again - can they take payments for short courses or does it have to be a full term course e.g. Sept - Summer ?
If the course only lasts a few weeks, will the assessment stop then and then start up again when the next short course starts ?
Also will the assessment be under the new rule taking gross pay into account ? and will this include director's dividends ?
Any guidance would be appreciated please

It wont be the new rules and gross pay as that hasn't come into force yet.
It depends if the course she is doing is classed as full time non advanced education. Do you know what course she is doing?August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

GCSE re take course which we believe to be over 12hrs a week, 3 - 6 weeks only
But if she backs these short courses up so the last one finishes Summer term, then payments will have to be made until September I believe.
I would have thought at the age of 17, 18, that full time education (over 12hrs a week as per list of courses) would only apply to whole courses not short re-takes ?0 -
As it's a GCSE, that is classed as non advanced education. All she has to do is the minimum 12 hours a week I believe for her to become a qualifying child for child support purposes again. Sorry.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

However long the length of the course I guess ?
By the time they get around to assessing us, she'd have finished it !
So the assessment won't be on gross earnings yet, but as a guide, it will be similar to what is says on their online calculator ?0 -
Yes, if it's a CSA2 case it will be approx what the online calculator says.
Hows the relationship with her Mother? Could you offer to pay a private agreement amount based on the calculator whilst she's at college rather than her contacting the CSA.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61
