iphone 4 case and screen protector

Recently got the iphone 4 and i'm looking to buy a case for it.

Now, i've been looking online at cases for the past week and jesus, there's so many too choose from, too many, that's why I thought I'd try here. I have a few specifics in mind.

I want a full cover for the phone minus the innputs, so aslong as the headphone jack, usb port etc are accessible.

I definately want a screen protector, this is getting to me most. I want to protect the entire phone from scratches including the screen.

I ideally do not want a screen protector that you have to apply (with fluid) to the screen. I'd really prefer it was built into the case. Again, preferably a fixed screen protector versus say a flip one, although i'm willing to look at flip ones.

I'd like a sturdy case, the silicon/rubber ones seem to fit the bill best here but again, im willing to look at others. Like leather cases.

Other things that im thinking about

1) Reception - don't want a case that's going to make reception worse or badly block the internal antenna
2) I keep hearing about problems with the iphone 4 screen when used with certain cases that cause it to crack. Ideally i dont want a case that will possibly cause this. I'm assuming plastic cases or hard cases are more likely to do this versus silicon, gel, rubber.
3) Case looks good? Not all that bothered, as long as it fits the bill above and doesn't look like a huge bulky !!!!!! case.

So basicalyl, complete protection for my case against scratches and preferably something sturdy proecting against shocks and drops and yet doesn't compromise the phone in anyway.

My budget? I don't have one, if it's genuinely that damn good and fits the bill i'll pay for what it's worth.

Many thanks!

  • Have a look on Reevoo.

Don't take much notice of the prices mentioned on Reevoo as they tend to be inaccurate. Best if you check the MegaShopBot first.

Can't quite tell, does this cover the screen at all?

    Hi
yes it does its integral to the inner case which is in 2 halves which clip together. Then the neoprene case covers the back and all sides (except front). The inputs are also covered but there are little lift up flaps to access the jack, charger input etc.

The screen cover is good and I have no problem using the touch screen through it

Have not noticed any difference in signal either

Thanks again, just to say I went with the Otterbox Defender after getting a decent price offer on eBay. RESOLVED

Edit: To clarify, having been using this case for awhile, loving it. Looks good, feels firm and does it job well.
