I just got some tickets to Let It Be at the Savoy, but does anyone know what time you should arrive at venue to guarentee a seat. And also from past experience does anyone know what sort of view you would get at the theatre with see film first. Is it the really rubbish tickets you pay little for and struggle to see much??? TIA

I've been for quite a few shows so far, and the only one where I missed out on tickets was Crazy Horse and I was half an hour early for that. For most others, getting there when the show starts, or even late, still gets you a ticket.

They're normally stalls and pretty good seats at that. I'm guessing it's the more expensive ones that aren't sold which we get. Otherwise, I usually upgrade my seats personally during the intermission!

Sorry if this is old news, but could we have a separate thread for any theatre tickets outside of London? Constant updates to shows you can't go to are a pain.

just been to my first virgin media free screening song for marion - nice film and they even provided the popcorn with a lady saying thank you for coming on the way out as well.

Nice touch - well done virgin and a local cinema too which makes a change from a 50 mile round trip.

  • Hello,

I've tried to get tickets for Let It Be. It says they are available and when I login to sign up for the tickets the message says to me that they are for invited users/on a list only. I think others have managed to get tickets so I'm looking for advice (or I'll just accept that it's not meant for me this time) :) Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for any advice!
  • I popped down to try and get my Let it Be tickets at lunchtime to get it out of the way, but they said they wouldn't be ready til later on and that the wording on the confirmation "collect tickets at least 30 mins before the performance" is poor! Will try again when I finish work!

Agreed - Had a great time at the show (Only lasts about an hour though, but any more would have probably generated a headache!!!) :rotfl:
