I've just managed to change one of mine...

I went to the first post,
clicked edit,
clicked 'go advanced',
changed the second bar down which should be titled "Title:"
then clicked save

is that what you did Lil?

Yep it is - just done it again and it's not changed again. I wonder if it's because my post is over a certain amount of time old? If you look at my first post you can see that the post title is changed but not the thread.

Ben, if you want to set up a new thread I can always link mine to it and close it?

Wouldn't the changing of the title of the thread means we going to get all kinds of posts though? People are going to post anything from buy 1 free 1, discount 60% / 40% / 30% or even 20%! I would have thought we all prefer freebies??? Plus lots of people currently subscribe to the thread hoping to get free theatre & concert tickets....

So my suggestion is maybe leave it as it is, but informed whoever posted wrong things there & move it elsewhere, such as Grabbit? Or maybe create a new thread for Discounted Theatre & Concert Tickets? Just an idea Thank you.

Ben, I can't see how to lock my thread but feel free to set up a new one anyway if you like?

The thread is going to be only for free theatre tix, and free concert tix, nothing else, anything else should go on a different board somewhere else. think we've got our wires crossed along the way

Not fuss about adding the word 'concert' to your thread title to be honest. The problem here is Magenta has posted something where you have to pay for the ticket - not a freebie! Her post says half price ticket --- completely out of topic & irrelevant. So if the mod can move that post out from the free thread - it's all sorted.

The title isnt that big of an issue, more trying to get people to consistantly post in the correct place

I'll request the post be moved too
