Hey, Been absent for a while. Working too hard (or I should be!)

When I've actually left the house I've worn a burgundy jumper & dark jeans with various bits of jewellery I've been uncovering and trying to match with clothes.

Primark's jewellery collections looking pretty good at the moment. I went down after an assessment and got there about 10am yesterday and it was dead so I could actually wander round and look properly
They seem to be embracing the flowery fabric covered jewellery trend but obviously much cheaper than the other places. Was quite tempted to get some of the earrings to use as badges but worried they'd leave a noticeable hole.

Vintage black velvet mini slip worn as a skirt (Jumble sale)
Opaque tights
Black folder-over ankle boots (Sale, Miss Selfridge 2009)
Heaps of big silver bangles and vintage rings
Vintage Celtic pendant (Car boot sale)
Huge rose and filigree earrings (Pressie)

brrr it's cold today, though at least the rain had stopped for my walk into work!
Made a slight more of an effort this morning and am wearing:

long sleeve grey t shirt - la redoute
blue cardigan - ebay
cream a-line above the knee skirt - H&M
purple tights - dunnes ( don't think you have a dunnes in England)
knee high black socks with red diamonds - present
calf length black boots I sewed smiley suns on to

black thick knit cardi with grey hearts / mint dog print, h&m via ebay
started off with mint green suede heels, primark, but they are waay too big so changed to black glitter heels, via charity shop..

Happy birthday! :beer:

I inherited one of those peter pan collar dresses from OHs sister. It's a bit big and a bit long though so it needs adjusting and I take ages to get round to things like that.
