    Belated Merry Christmas everyone.

Have been dropping in and out of this thread for some time but I've made my new years resolution now to dress more nicely than just jeans and hoodie.

    Todays offering is:

    Black Leggings (£5 Dorothy Perkins)
    Long blue top (£6 Tesco)
Cropped cream cardigan (£8 Jane Norman)
    Fluffy Warm Boots (£5 Boohoo)

Hubby has been out this morning and text me to say he'd bought me a top so goodness knows what I'll end up with!

I seemed to have escaped it phew!!!

Loved reading all the posts, gave me a giggle.

    Hi all :)
I did read the posts yesterday and forgot to add my own! Silly Lesley.

today's outfit is lazy and comfy for working til 8.
    jeans
    brown short sleeve t shirt
    long blue cardigan
    converse.

We have no water, and haven't since yesterday so have a pile of washing I can't do, house cleaning I can't do, and hair washing I can't do. Feel very dirty even though I've had water in a bucket to wash briefly in. Not the same as a shower though :(

I'm so thankful to have escaped it but i feel for you. Two outta my 3 daughters are affected but they get water from 12-2 pm and 4-6pm so they are not as bad as some people.

I do hope that it comes back soon for you all....

Welcome to all the new posters :)
    outfit today:
    oxblood coloured woolen tights, peacocks
navy and white striped dress with silver nautical buttons, be beau @matalan
black jersey shrug with blue, pink, grey floral print, primark
    burgundy and pearl bead bracelets..

Will change later as off to the cinema.

Been lounging round house all day with sewing projects, so far have made two pairs of pjs and cut out the pieces for a new dress..
  • Hey everyone :)

Hope christmasses were good and goanmad had a good holiday

I'm just back from OHs parents. Very well fed and a big box of prezzies including lots of cute baking things. Also an enormous bag of rejected clothes from his sister which I need to sort through but it looks like there's lots of nice things :)

Ooh, water outages must be awful. Really hope it gets fixed soon.

Bought these from the clarks sale. They're fairly plain but i'm hoping to get plenty of wear out of them. Been keeping an eye out for some good quality boots in the charity shops but nothings come up so i've spent some xmas money.

    Hi,

This is just a wee note to thank Claire (self-confessed lurker on this thread!) for the comment on my blog that tipped me off to the River Island sequinned jacket I've been after being half price in the sale. Didn't manage to find it in Glasgow or Edinburgh, but ordered it online. The courier delivered it about an hour ago and I'm well chuffed with it.

    Thanks Claire. xx
