We bought one of those memory foam mattresses, and didnt get on with it well. It was fine in the shop for a couple of minutes, but when we actually slept on it all night, it was like being on a hot grill. It seemed to reflect your own body heat back at you, and we just couldnt get to sleep. We felt stupid as well as it was very expensive. In the end, after about two weeks, hubby rang the shop up and told them he was bringing it back, cos we'd not slept properly for two weeks and we swapped it for a different one.

Yep, they were very comfy with all your clothes on, but a different thing entirely when lying on them in your undies!!!

Please make sure its okay for you before shelling out loads of money!

    Good Luck!

I have the one from Argos. £80 for a ks
Your mattress under it does need to be in good condition though else it is pointless.
  • Try eBay...plenty on there.
