Have You Reclaimed Your Bank Charges?

If so have you kept all your paper work and 6 years worth of statements?

Mine's clogging up me folder and want to shred it but not sure whether I should or not?

I'm thinking just to do the statements but keep all other correspondence!

Yes indeedy. Got £800 back from the Woolwich and £520 back from Capital one. So that's £1320 I'd forgotten about back in my bank account where it belongs. It's so easy once you get into seriously reading up on it too

Anyway, you did ask in the title "have you reclaimed your bank chages?" We only answered your question :p

I'm claiming mine back from one bank and starting with another.

My first claim is currently going through the courts. I have been offered half my charges back but I want them all, so sent my Allocation Questionnaire back to the courts last week and am waiting for the next step.

I'm claiming nearly £800 from one bank and £100 from my next one. Should go to clearing some of my debts. :D Good luck to all those who are claiming them back.

As for keeping the paperwork, I will keep it until I have been paid out, keep the 'full and final' settlement letter and shred the rest. However, I am not with that bank anymore so it's easy for me to say.
