Santander Post BR and statements etc

I have been receiving statements addressed to myself and my Ex-OH (old joint account, I am BR he is not) every six months or so since my BR and I always write back and tell them to bog off etc. However this time I have received a reply which doesn't make sense:

"The Transaction Summary Statement received is in connection with an outstanding balance on an Account and has been issued under new statement requirements introduced by the Consumer Credit Act.

We are aware the account was included in your bankruptcy in 2008, however, the remaining balance will still show on your credit file.

We apologies for the distress etc....."

Carp???? The balance should not be showing on my credit file as I am not liable any more (will look at the credit clear up file for a letter for this). But they HAVE to send me a statement and leave it on my credit file???

Hiya Skylight...hope you are keeping well.

Would the debt not have fallen to your Ex? I assume as a moving balance he would have taken it over & your name removed?

Your involvement in that account would have ceased on your BR day so they should no longer be sending you info on (what is now ) his account.....does that make sense?
