Agency went bust, no payslips, no P60, no tax deducted, uncontactable ... what to do?

in Cutting tax
I did some work for an agency back in June - only two shifts and I only earned about £130 from it. It was my first job in this financial year, and I filled out a P46. I noticed that no tax was deducted from my earnings. However, I assumed (being a little green) that this was because it was my first job this tax year, and therefore tax would be deducted when I exceeded the personal allowance; I have since been told that this is wrong.
However, the work dried up and I subsequently received a letter from administrators saying that the agency had gone into administration and was being wound up. I assumed that I would receive a P60 in due course, but didn't. Having bumped into other ex-employees on jobs with a different agency, I've found that they're in the same position
Anyway, when I come to do my tax return, what do I do??
TIA

You wont get a P60 as you were not employed at 5 April. The administrator should issue a P45 to you.
In your SA you just need to declare casual earnings of £130. As this was your first job this year, no tax will be due, although a small amount of NIC would be payable, but this is the responsibility of the employer, not you.0 -
You only get a P60 from an employer you are with at 5th April. It's a P45 from most other situations.Anyway, when I come to do my tax return, what do I do??
.............. just add the £130 to any other income figures you have for 10-11? You don't need any support documents for such a small amount ...... but you're likely adding £26 to the tax due, if your earnings will overall be above your personal allowance. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
