has anyone else been affected by this - had booked to go long weekend in feb to see a barcelona match as a surprise and receieved an email yesterday to say flights had been cancelled as they are no longer operating between nov and march - had to rebook with easyjet at additional cost. I could have switched to dublin free of charge but didnt fancy trying to make a flight from dublin at 6 in morning

Don't know why it's cancelled, but I believe they took the Munich route off so they could run the Barcelona route all year round. Maybe had rubbish ticket sales so canned the route. Never mind the trip to Dublin for a 6am flight, it's a dreadful airport, filthy in places, rude staff, hateful place altogether. You're far better off at Aldergrove for all it's faults in my opinion.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

if you're in Belfast or Newry area early morning Dublin would have been easy with the airporter bus - only £15 return last time I was on itNorn Iron Club Member #64

The Aircoach has been cancelled, but there's still a Bus Eireann (sp?) running through the night afaik.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0 -
Would be worth posting this on the main overseas travel board. Aer Lingus may be liable to cover your additional costs. There is a poster, Cityboy, who posts on that board who is very switched on re passenger rights and regulations.0

has anyone else requested a refund for any of these cancelled aerlingus flights?
I booked alternative flights with easyjey (at an additional cost) and requested a refund from aerlingus. The email i recieved from aerlingus states that there will be a 'full refund of your booking' and when i rang the customer service operator stated that full refund of £155.90 will be credited back to my account. However when checking my account this morning i noticed only the price of the flights has been refunded (£111.90) booking fees, baggage costs etc were not refunded, i've tried ringing but cant get any answer...can anyone help?0
