I'd certainly hand over every voucher I have (and get some from the ACM, too!). Please hang onto your receipt and let us know what coupons you used and what points you got!
What day are you going? I am tempted to go this weekend even though I can get to the one on Thursday just because it will work out better if I can get all my extra points for using the vouchers for bonus points when you spend X amount.
Edit: Just thought, I'm not sure how the points work out. If the shopping evening gives you 1000 bonus PLUS your regular 200 points to achieve 1200, then since this weekend is only giving you 1000, that presumably means you get 800 bonus plus your 200 regular points? So if you use the double points coupon, it will double your 200 points on a 50 quid spend and you'd get 1200 points total (and then hopefully points from any other vouchers you have). Not sure about how that works, perhaps some other old-time Bootsers can chime in.
Did a little digging on the next OOTW, usually she tells me quite happily what it will be, but said that usually they were told but hadn't been yet:( - the mystery deepens.0 -
I got two this morning too and 1216 points on my card...... Mummy of one got loads of points (see other OOTW thread) I'm sure she said 4000+, hope she comes on soon to share how she did it.....
I tried quizzing the sa too, but she said they hadn't been told yet...... I think it could be S & G..... I dont think they will leave it too near Christmas this year.....Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:

I too think that they may go for S&G next week, there does seem to be a bit of secrecy over next weeks, as I said previoulsy the sa at my local is always happy to impart what is coming next, but this week nada. x0 -
Right, went this am, got 2 sanctuary boxes (they are really lovely and far bigger than I imagined), tried all my coupons from mailing, but the only one the kind sa could get to work was the double points one, so got 1272 points on a 59 spend, quite happy with this, and am delighted with the boxes.

Thanks for reporting back! Well, it sounds like only the double points voucher will work, so I don't know if I need bother going this weekend or just wait until next Thursday for the shopping evening (as I had hoped all the extra points vouchers would work this weekend). Since I'm not after the Sanctuary offer, there's no rush for me, though it would suck if I showed up Thursday and they were sold out of a few things and I no longer had enough items to reach 50 quid!0 -
I just got 2 Sanctuary sets from my local store (ran down there in my lunchbreak!)
I got a few other bits on the 3 for 2 mix and match which took my total to exactly £50 so I got my 1000 points and I also had a double points coupon which got me 200 points in addition - very chuffed!!
Am going to give one of the boxes to my OH's sister and then divide the other one up amongst my friends in little gift bags for Christmas
I think i'll keep the actual drawers for myself as a useful little storage unit in the bathroom :T
Looking forward to the next OOTW already!Lover of languages, handbags, travel, my Border Terrier, my husband, cheese & gin. Kicker of cancer's butt. Not necessarily in that order0 -
hi guys, i'm new to ootw as i missed out last year, i didnt realise then that this forum existed, anyway, when i save things in my boots basket, does it automatically change the price when you log in/go to check out, as in if i put a s&G set in there, the one we think is going to be reduced, will my backet update itself?
also would this apply to items that then go in the sale, same idea i mean
thanks guys and galslet he without sin cast the first stone0 -
I saw something yesterday, can't remember where, saying that Boots would be emptying all baskets in the early hours of the Friday morning that related to OOTW purchases....
I'm sure one of the others will be along to clarify shortly....Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:
