Just phoned up about the 5th night free offer and it's the cheapest night free. Great offer though - may book today as a last minute holiday before the baby comes!0

Yes the Grand Hotel do have quite a bad reputation.
On another note some family friends have just booked this deal and during the telephone conversation we're told that this deal was going crazy and rooms we're selling out extremely fast so if your'e still sitting on the fence i suggest you get in while you can!0 -

Just seen another offer on this hotel on MSE here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2797262
Deal is £99 for 3 nights but only runs until end of November so no good for me. We normally head up to Scarborough/Whitby in the New Year.
Stayed in an english rose hotel last Feb and it was very nice so wouldn't hesitate to recommend if anyone else is interested.0 -
Just booked this Autumn Break for me and the wife at the Royal Hotel we've upgraded to a luxury suite and got 50% off, got a free bottle of champagne , saved a fiver because we booked before the 31st Oct and got a fifth night free Proper Bargain thanks PamPam for this find !0

All the scarborough hotels from English Rose Hotels seem to have some outstanding deals on at the moment. Even the Wrea Head Country House Hotel - which certainly has good reviews on Trip Advisor and is the most luxurious of the bunch. Still not that bad a price really.
Meant to add this: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g190744-d193810-Reviews-Wrea_Head_Country_House_Hotel-Scarborough_North_Yorkshire_England.html0
