5 night UK break including dinner & breakfast in Jan £15/night!!

Just got an email from English Rose Hotels about their Autumn Breaks. They are offering discount rates on their hotels through to January 2011. The cheapest hotel is the Clifton hotel in Scarborough which is £20.11 per person per night in Jan BUT if you book 4 nights you get another night free!

AND if you book before the end of this month you get another £5 off.

So by my reckoning that means ....

4 x £20.11 = £80.44
which qualifies you for a free night

£80.44 - £5.00 / 5 nights = £15.09 pp/n!

Now that's a bargin! :)

  • LOL yeah your maths is a little off - but not by much!!

I still get is to work out at £18.66 per person per night (assuming first night is a Sunday) which is still a bargain in my eyes!

That sounds like an great deal, looking for somewhere reasonably cheap to stay over Christmas in the Scarborough region and will definitely consider one of these hotels.

To be fair I think it has more good reviews than bad, and there is a choice of other hotels offering the same deal with slightly higher rates.

I had a quick shop around for hotel deals over Xmas and I can tell you these rates are very competitive. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, looking at the Clifton reviews it seems the people who are complaining expected to much from a 2 star budget hotel.

On the other hand the other hotels have some rave reviews, especially the Wrea Head.
