    Wow, I didn't realise they had bought out a 'family' one , which cooks up to 1.5 kg chips. I cooked chips for 6 in my standard one once and think everyone wished there were a few more chips. The comet deal looks v. good especially as you get £51 worth of Jamie Oliver saucepans thrown in for free.
    Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
    It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

    A halogen oven will do the same thing at less than a third of the price and can be used for so much more.

    My glass around the hinge bit broke after about 4 months and Argos replaced under the one year guarantee.

    Can you make proper chips in a halogen oven?
