How this you find this gem of info??0

To be fair you are still better off then under the scheme before double points..
We got it really good for while and enjoyed it while it lasted... Doesn't mean I am not dissapointed that the rate is going down, but I don't shop at Tesco just for the points, but also because it is convenient.
I will be changing my next lot very quickly into something good. Now just find out what! I have currently £31 in points and still 10 days to go to the cut off date, not sure I can spend £120 in restaurants over the next 6 mths, especially as it covers just the food...!!! Though, thinking about it, I probably could.. :-))0 -

A friend works at Tesco and it's just been sent via an all-staff email.
We're saving all my vouchers for a trip to Disney in November next year, I'm up to £110 worth of vouchers / £440 in deal tokens.
Now I'm not sure if I can cash them in next month and keep the deals tokens for a year before booking with Virgin. Does anyone know if I can?
--- edit ---
Just had a really careful read through the terms and conditions and actually the deals tokens when they send them out to you are only valid for 6 Months.
So what will happen is this:
The November Clubcard statement is due around middle of Nov, still 3 weeks or so left at the old 4x rate at that point. I'll cash in all my saved vouchers for deals tokens, then I've got until May to book my holiday, which in all likelyhood I'll actaully do during the January sales.
Not too bad I guess, but it means that the points I collect over Xmas will arrive in February, and only be exchanged at 3x...0 -

I think you can keep them for 6 months.
You can then get them revalidated but would it be at 4x or 3x ???0 -
makes you wonder
if there double up clubcard promo that was on in aug/sept will become a promo the'll trot out more often
thus making it more atractive so that clubcard rewards are used at tescos rather then at clubcard partners
a win win for tescos perhaps ???0 -
What can l do about a trip to London, l've been saving for a trip in Spring 2011.
I've never used my club card vouchers to double or quadruple up before so not sure if l book at a hotel if l can get the quadrupled voucher first?

That certainly seems to be the intention.
I think it's safe to assume that Tesco would prefer you to use your vouchers in-store at 1x or 2x and they get the sale rather than on Deals at 4x or (now) 3x and the "partner" gets the sale.
Sassyblue: Once you get your vouchers in Nov, convert them all ASAP to Clubcard deals tokens on the Tesco website. They take about 3-4 weeks to post you them. Once you have the tokens, then book your trip.
Booking with deals tokens usually has to be done over the phone and you have to mention you're using Deals tokens.0 -

Cheers, many thanks for that, l won't get a fantastic deal because l'll be booking ahead so far but every little helps l suppose. :rotfl:

I had planned to buy my wedding ring from Goldsmiths with my vouchers - currently have £120 (converted to £480), and ring is £600. I have £17 (which will convert to £68) which will come out in November.
Should I convert my current vouchers now and then convert the November ones once received, or just convert them all in November?
Please help, I'm confused!!! :mad:0 -
