still getting bills/letters requesting money

Options
Hi I'm sorry if this has been asked before but i've searched the help stickys and looked thru a few pages and cant find anything.......

My partner and I were made bankrupt beginning of 2009 and were both discharged 6 months later.
Everything has been going great since, managed to sort out a current and savings account the only problem we are having is I keep getting statements and letters from our debtors requesting money.
the main two being Halifax credit card and Egg loan
I've rang and wrote to both companies several times and have been told I wont recieve anymore mail but I got another statement from Halifax this morning.
I'm not sure what to do, I'm also wondering wether my accounts with the two companies should show £0.00 owed now??
can anyone help??

Sounds like you need to clean up your credit file. Look at the sticky on the front page of the forum. This will stop creditors sending you letters.
