Ah, yes, I see. They halved the price AND did a BOGOF. Whoops. Anyway. I had an email stating that my order had been despatched (well 3 out of 5 dvds anyway). It stated that the others will follow on soon.

Edited: Wahey! Just got a second email stating the other two are on their way!!!

One minor problem with that 'halved the price and did a bogof' theory. Half of £18.99 is not £9.99. In fact its 50p less at £9.49 (ish). Not that 50p really matters, but surely sainsbury's have better maths than that?

Phew...that was a close one. Placed another order for the four Alien DVDs for £19.98 what must have been only 20 minutes or less before they rectified the prices Hope they honour it!

well it doesnt surprise me as they got the price wrong anyway...i bet sainsburys dont lose anything on this deal

dont want to put a dappener on things as this was a good deal..but i dont recall any dvd being 18.99 these days.....most are 9.99-12.99...but still a very good deal.

i didnt buy any..was tempted to get all the alien dvd's but i have more important things to buy at the mo....

1. Prices
The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out in the web site. If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge. The delivery charge is calculated based on the weight of an item and is clearly shown in the Trolley and Checkout. Where items are ordered pre-release, prices are correct at time of publication, in which case the price charged may be different, as the order may have been placed as much as three months prior to release. 2. Availability
If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible.

There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually dispatch the goods to you. Well they goofed there 5 out of 6 disks confirmed dispatched, thus contract was made between them and me at the prices stated at the time of order

Any bets they find a reason to not send I Robot when it comes in, or I get a email later advising me of a price change for it, I think I will decline the DVD if that happens or complain that I-Robot was one of the BOGOF's who is to say what I paid for and what I didn't, nothing stated on the emails

I just had an e-mail stating my dvd's have been despatched all except I Robot . Not received an e-mail to say about a price mistake. Will be interesting to see if anyone gets I Robot.

Can confirm that they have only taken 24.97 from my account for 6 DVD's, so it looks like they are honouring their mistake :cool:

I have had four out of eight dispatched. As they have started to fulfill my order, I would imagine that the contract for the whole eight had been formed (or who's to say they are not the four free ones). As we have not been informed of a pricing error, we could justifyable open and watch the ones that have been sent and if they try to increase the price, cancel the whole order and ask them to come and collect the lot.

I do think that the price is a genuine loss-leader though. They could have made more of it by emailing a 'this is the wrong price, but on this occasion we will honour it' type message, but didn't.

I ordered the 4 aliens dvds, Irobot and day after tomorrow like a lot of people (and i got in there 7am the morning after the post too!)

I've even got an email stating "The overall total cost will be: £24.97"

I'll be ringing them after 9 I assure you, and i'll be down the bank to bounce that last 'unauthorised transaction' from my account

so everyone CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS
