Hi there,
Its my boyfriends Birthday in November & he would really like to go karting with his friends...
iv been looking at paying for them to go as his birthday present, but its looking rather expensive (£40pp) as he wants a "race" type experience not just driving round in circles.
i was thinking of spending around £150ish maybe a little more.... but there will probably be 6 of them.
Does anyone know of any cheap deals, or 2 for 1 vouchers or anything like that?? help!
Preferably midlands area please

Couldn't the mates pay for themselves? You could organise it as a surprise, invite them etc.
Then, with £150 you could pay for your b/f to go karting with his friends and take him out for a slap up meal with you.

Hmmmm.... Not a bad idea. Will see what his friends have to say
although doubt it will be a suprise as they wont be able to resist telling him

maybe a bit late but some Karting places accept Tesco vouchers so (untill Dec) you can get £100 of karting for £25 of Vouchers.0

I know this may be not be possible but there is the 24 hour British Go Kart endurance in 2011?
Obviously this would depend on the 6 people all paying in and would work out at about 150 quid each for the team.
But its a full on 24 hour endurance race at Teesside Autodrome - the 900 quid includes your go kart, fuel, two sets of tyres and is usually around the bank holiday at end of August.
Teesside is the longest go kart track in the world so you can be sure that it won't be just a "round and round" spin as each lap is over 1 minute 20.
Not on commision for this, but I've taken part in 2010 and 2009 and it was fantastic and the buzz has stayed with me and my teammates for weeks after. We have already started planning for 2011 event.
as I said though, you do need the commitment from everyone going, and you need to be down on the Friday beforehand for the team weigh in - briefing and familiarisation.
Qualifying is Saturday morning (2 hours which is included in the price)
Race start is usually lunch time Saturday then all through the night until Sunday lunchtime.
I did a video of this years event which is on youtube - but I'm not exactly Cameron or Spielberg:p
