I have heard rumours that in Scotland children can be viewed as being dependent until 25 if they are in university, but CSA payments stop at 18?? is this true?
Would this apply to me as non resident parent as I live in England and my child is in Scoland?

Should parents be forced to pay for children after 18? 7 votes

CSA payments stop when child benefit stops, this can be 19 if the child is in non advanced full time education. Both in England and in Scotland. Best not to actually listen to rumours.

The OP really has been given some excellent advice there. When it comes to the CSA and peoples cases with them things are complicated enough without mistruths and rumours being thrown into the mix.
(im a compliant male NRP)When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0
