I have just applied for sum but on finishing the application they email to say that you have to wait until they accept your application i am guessing this is to ensure that you live at the address but i wondered if they credit check you for them or not?
Surely you can have premium bonds after you have been discharged?
I will let you know how i get on.

No credit checks. But they do do ID checks I think? Plus there is a max limit you can hold I think? Hence having to wait for your app to be accepted?
Nothing stopping you buying them.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Well i am on the ladder with the Premium Bonds as i had a letter on Saturday just asking for my signature to complete the application. I am hoping to be then able to set up a month direct debit to buy some every month.
Its exciting after the last few years that i can actually now look to save and invest which is proof of how much my life has transformed since having to go BR in 2008.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
