I am keen to have face and neck lift but feel repulsed by the sight of skin stretched over the face as some of people I know got after their facelifts. I am looking for a good plastic surgeon who believes in making subtle improvements rather than making chimp out of the patients. I have read a couple of articles of Dr. Jennifer Levine, a New York plastic surgeon and liked what she does. Please tell me how is she or suggest any other plastic surgeon whom you had a good experience with.

Any surgical proceedure is only partly about the skill of the surgeon.
The rest of it is about the patient reaction to the surgery. No one can predict this with complete accuracy beforehand.
Do you think that the people who's proceedures you don't like the look of went to a surgeon and said "Please can you make me look like a chimp?"
It is important to have a good experienced surgeon, but it's still a leap of faith, and you're playing the odds. If you're not prepared for it to not quite look like you want, then don't do it at all.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
As OP is asking about a New York based surgeon, I would be tempted to class this as :spam: and have reported it as such, appologies if wrong
