Anyone Recommend a Good Elec. Kitchen Scale? Not Salter...

I'm looking for a new kitchen scale and don't want another Salter or a balance type scale. I want electronic scales that are accurate and reliable. Had enough of Salter's 6 month wonders.
Have looked at Russell Hobbs, Soehnle, Hanson and those posh ones that begin with a T (sorry can't remember name), but when I find ones that look interesting I can't find many (or any) reviews.
Nearly ordered the Wahl James Martin ones on the strength of the Amazon reviews, but when OH saw it used a lot of 9v batteries he didn't want me to buy it.
Any ideas please?

ive had loads of electronic scales including some v expensive sainsburys ones that mr conrad said were ideal to weigh a goose, two sets of them went west before i gave up and bought the cheapest ones i could find in home bargains which have lasted a few years now and are still going strong'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

I have had these scales for a while and love them. Very robust, still look good as new, despite constant use. Think they come in black also...

Healthy eating aim per day: 3 fruits, 3 or more vegetables, 3 low-fat dairy portions, 3 starch portions, 2-3 lean protein portions.
Weekly aim: to include 2 portions of fish (one oily), some nuts, seeds, beans and pulses.0 -

Oh noes! They were one of the ones I really liked but couldn't find any reviews! I gave up this morning and ordered some Soehnle ones, but I liked the look of these Russell Hobbs better (and they're £14 cheaper!).
Serves me right for being impatient.:o
Thanks for your post, if the Soehnle ones come and I don't like them, I'll send them back and get yours.
Thanks also Suesmith, I've never heard of Home Bargains but sounds like a good idea. I'm sick of buying mid-priced goods that are actually the same (or worse) as cheapo ones! :mad:Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. my cheap ones are the same as a branded pair but without the celeb name on them
homebargains is or was a predominantly northern thing but they are expanding all the time http://www.tjmorris.co.uk/'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0
