At my local Co-op there were the above at £3.79 from £7.57. It looks like SMA as made changes to their milk. There were in the reduced to clear in mine.
There were also nappies and jars of baby food reduced as well.

this Violates the WHO (world health organisation) code of ethics but more to the point they are breaking the law!
NO FORMULA can be discounted its a set price to avoid competition and should be sold at the RRP Its sad that the co op see fit to break the rules0 -

That's why SMA 2 (6 months+) is £6.50 in ASDA, £7.00 in Tesco but £7.64 in Sainsburys and Waitrose
and why SMA 3 (1-3 years) is £6.00 in Tesco, £7.00 in ASDA but £8.99 in Sainsburys and Waitrose
and why SMA Extra Hungry Infant is £8.51 in Tesco & Waitrose but £8.99 in ASDA and Sainsburys

Its only formula up to 6 months that cannot be discounted, you cannot received Tesco, Nectar or Boots points on stage 1 milks either. This is to encourage breast feeding. SMA stage 2 is for babies 6months plus and as the post above said everywhere sells at a different price, confusing I know.0 -
Mrs penguin is correct. This is a stage 2 6 months plus milkMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
I work for the co-op and it may be the case that a new planogram has been implemented. We are now allowed to reduce stock that is no longer ranged to ensure old stock is sold through quicker. HTH0

NOT EVERYONE CAN BREASTFEED!!!!
Why don't people understand this?! Everytime someone posts a Grabbit on for formula you always get someone that has to tell us about some kind of guideline. Shops do not discount first infant milk, and I wish they did because it costs me a fortune!
End of rant! xxx0 -
Is stage 2 not the "hungry baby" stuff?
98% of women can breastfeed. But many choose not to. To use I couldn't when really you meant I didn't want to just makes the bar higher for those who do want to as all they hear everywhere is how many people couldn't manage so think that it is something that cannot be done.Kyle 03.04.04
