some advice please

Hi, I posted on Friday that I had my first WTC. It was from Keystore for a camcorder. The women said she would phone me back on Monday, she never did. I had taken a day off to wait for call so i was quite annoyed i never got it. I still have not heard anything. Is this normal for a company saying they will call you back on a certain day then they dont. I cant really take anymore time off work.

yep..they are only human after all...it might be one particular person who's dealing with it and they may have gone sick etc...don't fret just yet and i hope they call you soon

They probably wouldn't have expected you to have taken a day off work just to take a phone call. Not sure what the nature of your work is. Can you take calls at work? Perhaps you could have given them your works number or a mobile number.

I find it strange too that she had to call you back and couldn't just arrange everything on the Friday. They sound disorganised to me!

Out of interest, why did you have to take a day off to wait simply for a call? Could they not have called on your mobile, or alternatively just left a message? Also if you were told on Friday that you had won why not just arrange delivery date during that call.

They dont have my mobile number just my landline. She said she would have to talk to her manager to arrange the day i was to go to the store to get my prize and my photo taken.

Well done on your win. I've just looked at their website to see if there are any contact details but I cant see any. :T

You could contact a store near you (they are all listed on their website) and ask for their head office telephone no. If you call head office they will hopefully be able to take a work or mobile number from you and pass it onto whoever is dealing with it.

Doesn't help for this one, but for the future. always make sure you get the name and phone number of the person calling you, that way you always have someone to call if there are any problems / the prize is delayed etc. Hope they call you soon.
