Hi all
I want to open a secret bank account so I can save without wife
knowing this, nothing dodgy she's just a spend freak.
which is the best bank for this, I don't want to have any monthly fees and only want to save about £100 per month.
Any advice????
thanks

Scott, Post Office savings account. Easy to setup and use, great rates for the first year. Recently set up one myself to save for the World Cup 2014

Isn't any savings account secret if you don't tell her about it?Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!

An online bank account without paper statements is required. It can't be one where you have to receive an activation code, card reader or whatever through the post in order to open it. Even then they may send forms to sign to open the account, mailshots regarding changes to Terms and Conditions etc.0

i understand your pain, the same reason i stop carrying cash in my wallet. My wife would "borrow" any notes in it every night for spending the next day lol0 -
Many banks will send papers to your work address, or allow you to pick them up at a local branch.0

I wouldn't want such things sent to my workplace, wherever I worked!Voyager2002 wrote: »Many banks will send papers to your work address, or allow you to pick them up at a local branch. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0
