Which court

Am i being thick? How do i go about phoning the court and getting forms sent to me (since they don't do the online forms anymore and i don't have a printer at the moment) and making an appt? I don't even know which court it would be, i have never been to any court and have no experience in which courts deal with which issues. should i get the forms, spend time making them right and then call back later to make the court date appt? Sorry if this sounds a bit thick, but I just feel like now i need to get on with this and get it booked!

Hi Hunt85, ring them up for the forms to be sent to you and ask them what system they use do you book or is it a drop in one......then go from there x

Just spoke to THE rudest woman on earth at the court in the "cash and collections department" or something like that, she said it so fast i didn't quite catch it. I said I need the forms please she said "get them online" i said i don't have a printer, she said "hang on" then put the phone down, moaned about me to her colleague, came back and said "name and address" i told her, she said "its on its way" and started to say goodbye and i said "hang on do i need an appt or what?! i have not done this before" she sighed like i was interrupting her day and said "just come any day between 10-11am and you will be seen" and then hung up! this does not fill me with confidence :(

Ring them back and ask to speak to her superior, you do not deserve to be treated like that and she should not be able to get away with it.

I would normally but i don't want to rock the boat in case it has an impact on how they treat me when i do go to court to petition bankruptcy. And i hate to be stereotypical, but in council/court offices they can be quite !!!!!y etc and so as much as i'd like to think they wouldnt let it effect how they treat me, i think it would. :( not nice as i've also been dealing with a horrible car dealer today and i'm off sick with flu!

Oh dear that's awful isn't it.......well at least you know it's a drop in system now and forms are in the post (if you don't receive them in 3 working days do ring back for more to be sent). It's very rare they are so rude and the clerks at the court won't be. Deep breath's and don't let this get you down.

    Best wishes

You can still download the blank forms. Which is what she probably meant?

But no use to you if you can't print them.
