Rang Sky today ( couldn't get through on the freephone number though) to cancel my Movie package. I said we were having to cut back and she replied that because of gas and electric costing so much everybody was cutting back on their Sky packages. She then made us the offer of keeping the movie package until January and paying £25 a month for my whole Sky package, effectively I'm getting the movies package for £3 a month instead of £15. I was well pleased.:D

Sky HATE losing a loyal customer! My advice is to keep saying no until you get to the VERY best 'offer'.....

Forgot to say, the VERY best deal is the one BEFORE they say. 'OK, I'l cancel your subscription'

well we cancelled our package and they phoned up to see why, obviusly it was because of the subscription charges. They offered us the sports package for £5 and month and we said no and they were really shocked until we said the whole point of cancelling was so we didn't have to pay anything. So we ended up with sky sports package FREE for 4 months!

That's actually their opening offer as I believe it ties you in for another 12 months? If you say no to that, the next one is 50% off for 3 months with option to ring again in 3 months. Been on this for 9 months now....

I am on 50% off for 6 months with no ties can ring and cancel it when I like, just came off the 3 month 50% off and withing days got the phone call offering me 6 mths at least it saves the 3 monthly phone call.
I diddnt realise there was a free phone number what is it please
