I need to report MBNA as they haven't responded to my letter about changing the default on my file to satisfied. The only proof of delivery I have though is this
Your item with reference [NUMBER] was delivered from our CHESTER Delivery Office on 10/09/10 .
It isn't showing a copy of the signature or anything like I thought it was supposed to. How can I use this as proof that the letter was delivered?

Did you get in writing from mbna that they will mark the default as satisfied when paid? If you get no joy with mbna then contact the credit reference agency and tell them you have paid it they will contact mbna for you to ask them to change it to satisfied. However they might ask to see proof that you have paid it.

I haven't actually paid it, I'm cleaning up my file after being discharged from bankruptcy.

It sometimes takes a few days for the signature to be put on the royal mail tracking page.

So perhaps leave it a few days and then check again?

Otherwise, just the delivery conformation you have should be OK.
