I've seen loads of listings claiming buyers will be given details of a discounted supplier of electrical goods or other current high value item. The seller usually turns out to be an agent for The Select or some other dropshipper and they're on commission if you then sign up as an agent. You don't normally get the goods at the cheap rate until the supplier achieves the minimum quota of purchasers and a bulk order can be made.
So I suppose you could make a profit, but its whether you can be bothered to wait for your goods before you can sell them.0 -
MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com:hello:0 -
When I was a child my mum and dad allways had a little wooden plack ( spelling ? ) on the wall showing a man sweating profusely ,struggling with a wheelbarrow with the phrase under it " the world owes you a living - but you will have to work hard to collect it ! )
Still remember that after 40 odd years - true in those days and in a sense now as well - unless you have 10 plus kids and can claim a few hundred a week through benefits - why struggle with a wheelbarrow ?0
