I am officially the Queen of Indie and Retro. However, you gotta lurve Queen! Go Freddie! Probably the best rock n roll performer evah!

I on the other hand am the Queen of Cheese - If its 80s pop or if you can sing and dance to it drunk then I love it :D . Kylie, Jason, Kylie & Jason, Chesney, Wham - the list goes on.

I'm also a soft rocker and love a bit of Bon Jovi and Meatloaf

anyway, the question - Where is the line between being a moneysaver and as bit tight?

It's a question of attitude and posture.

If you're sneery and hunched over, you're tight.

If you're enthustiastic and bouncing along, you're MSE.
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

    hello again everyone
I have a (semi) serious question for you.

My mate really tuned me into this moneysaving lark and it's pretty addictive aswell as being a very sensible (and fun) thing to do.

anyway, the question - Where is the line between being a moneysaver and as bit tight?

    thanks all
    James

Being a moneysaver is buying your toilet roll in bulk at Costco ( you should have seen them all today!)
    tight is re-using it!

To me its when the effort involved exceeds the benefits obtainable - eg I could save myself £5 by washing my own windows - but It would take me half a day when I could be doing something more productive.

I'm the Princess of Power (not power ballads, I hasten to add)

Nothing wrong with a bit of the Jovi! On more than one drunken occasion I've expressed a desire to get a tattoo around my wrist saying "Tommy and Gina never backed down" .... :rotfl:

And a die-hard MSEr would have got some cashback or a freebie too somewhere along the line ;)

I almost cant bear to part with money these days unless theres something extra in it for me
