I have no idea where this question should go - mods please move to wherever the Asking Questions on behalf of Poor, Elderly Relatives forum is hiding.
With winter coming on, I'm considering buying some electrically heated gloves for an elderly relative with arthritis and chronic, 'cold hands syndrome'.
Are these any good, does anyone know?

I was looking at these, although they seem to be so thick and cumbersome that they would actually rule out actually doing anything when wearing them!

Hi Charlton,
I know it's not what you asked for, but I have these and they're excellent for slipping inside regular gloves and keeping my hands warm when watching my son play rugby in winter.
I'll leave your thread here for now to see if you can get more suggestions and if it drops down the board then I'll move it over to the Iwanna board to see if you can get more replies.

Edited to add: These are very pricey but look good. Heated glove liners Perhaps if you search around for glove liners rather than gloves you could find a cheaper pair?0
