in Bankruptcy & living with it
can anyone tell me if i am meant to contact our insurance companies [house car pet and life] that we are br or do you just tell them on renewal,if we dont tell them and we submit a claim could they discard it because we had not disclosed br. sorry i always seem to be asking questions on this forum just want to make sure i am doing everything right

    look at your policy in detail and you should find the answer as every policy will be different

    Most policy's have a thing saying about Material Facts and although they don't particulrly mention BR it is a Material Fact. So your best bet is to ring them and check. If they say fine get them to confirm it in a letter or an email so they can't back down should you want to make a claim.
