Need to check the bank accounts and cc prob not nice but head in sand not a good idea.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -
I think I have prob said this before, but I will say it again.......!
The next few weeks/months will be strange as you adjust - as you discover who "you" are, and how YOU feel. Lots of other people will try and tell you what to do or how to feel or say "I know what you're going through" but the fact is, this is YOU, and only YOU.
Some days will be good, some days not so great, but over time you will peel back the layers, and gain a new found confidence.
I saw some friends over the weekend that I haven't seen for 6 months or so.....they were amazed at the difference in me in that time, and couldn't stop commenting on it. Yet it was a good few months after my split until I could recognise that MY life is still all ahead of me. Once I did, though, there have only been good things happen. And the same will happen for you too.

Thanks I have already changed/grown over the last year so will look forward to even more over the next year. I think its the change over the last year that has finally put the final nail in the coffin of our relationship. I try to be pragmatic about stuff so surprised that my emotions seem to want to overule my logic.
I do have wobbly moments especially about my weight but only I can do something about that. Plan for 2011 is to be slimmer, enjoy my new job and keep debts at bay.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -
Hi :hello:
Things ok. Winding down at work but prob a bit too soon! Ex is with friend but only as of today. Both asked me about it so Im fine with it. Hope it goes well for them.
Spoke to new manager today. He sounds nice and now have a bit more idea what to expect in the first few days.
Money - head in sand, really need to check the accounts to see what the damage is, hopefully not too bad.
Weight - bit of a stall, still eating ok but more than last week so not seeing any change. Will keep on.:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0 -

Thanks really excited
Got an old friend coming over Sunday evening so looking forward to that. Its a he so Ex always was a bit arkward around him.
Looking to move so had a look at some places. The main one is expensive but just affordable so 1) need to like it which I dont think will be a problem 2)need to double check i can afford it and 3) look to rejig the finances to lower payers as right now Id rather enjoy life with debt going down slowly than worry about money all the time. Prob not the right thing to say on MSE but I wont go mad promise!!:jMay 2013 new beginnings:j0
