Hi all - just wanted to pop back in and say hello!! We had a great day and i shall of course put pics on when i get chance (i have to wait til others sort them out!) Weather was pants (foggy and cold) but it really didn't matter a bit! Ceremony went great and we both managed to get our words out! My Grandad did a reading and got very emotional (My Gran passed away 4 weeks ago so was all very raw still) which in turn made lots of others cry!!! Venue was fantastic, no hiccups at all and it all ran like clockwork. No fighting or fall outs at all which is always a bonus  I am now starving today as i only ate the dessert of the wedding breakfast, i didnt even SEE the buffet but it was apparently lovely (!!) havent had a slice of cake yet and didnt have any of the chocolate fountain but apparently that was also great! So all in all i am bloomin' hungy! So gonna maybe have to have a chinese tonight! Hubby got very very drunk but i was a classy bride and only had 3 alcoholic drinkies :A All in all it was fantastic and the only downside is that although my wedding boots were really comfy and the best choice, the amount of time i spent on my feet have now caused me to have a numb toe!!!! Seriously - my one toe is dead and it is many hours later now eeeeeek!!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Moredeadthanalive... this is the weddings moneysaving board.
After months of chatting about planning, moneysaving etc, it's nice for others to know how the big day itself went.
Congratulations on your wedding, glad it went well!!!

I am married, have kids, just got a new job, had someone run into my car, watched X-Factor etc etc
But that's just life stuff, innit?
Don't read threads you have no interest in then!! People on this board spend months planning their weddings, and use this board for ideas, support and occasional venting. We get to know each other over that time and therefore have a genuine interest in how other poster's weddings went. Is that OK with you?
Bigmomma, many congratulations on your wedding, please get some photos to us ASAP...:heart2::heart2::heart2:Engaged to my lovely man since 27th April 2010:heart2::heart2::heart2::happylove0 -

moredeadthanalive: "instead of caffeine fuelled tea and coffee, I now drink red bush without milk. And in the morning, I just drink a pint of water to re-hydrate myself. I dont do hot drinks first thing as I get too hot and sweaty after the showerthanalive" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:0
