Waterproof Cycling Trousers

Hi,
I'd be grateful for any advice with the following.
I'm looking to buy a pair of waterproof trousers for cycling. Only need them for a 5-10 min journey but would be good to get something that keeps the water out for 30 mins.
Also something that dries out quickly would be good.
Thanks

I rate the ones Aldi sell regularly - I wore them over cycling padded undershorts as they keep water out forever as they are padded inside and a waterproof plastic-y outer layer (can't describe it better, sorry). They are quite warm to wear as they are quite thick.
You can also sometimes get cycling gear in Lidl but I've not tried it.
Or you could get ordinary water repellant trousers somewhere like millets. I have a pair and they are thinner fabric so more comfy and cool and dry out quickly, but you are then wearing wet trousers.

Any outdoors/hiking/camping type shop will have waterproofs.
If you have a Decathlon nearby theirs are good value, and they also do over shoe-gaiters, which are really useful if its particularly nasty weather!Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0
