Happy New Year everyone. I think we're in and probably watching some countdown programme plus Jools Holland.
Not at all, FYP, it means you can have a drink at home in comfort without wanting to cope with over crowded and over-priced bars:D:D
Happy New Year to everyone

I have to face facts - some point in the next few years I will turn middle aged. I don't know how it happens or what signs to look for. As I get older though I realise 'old' gets older, so maybe middle age will be when I'm 60 - and thats a looooooong way off! I have heard people say that 60 is the new 40 so maybe thats what they mean. :rotfl:

These are 2 more signs of getting old! I can't remember when I traded in the high heels for flats because of comfort but now I'm such a fussy shoe shopper and I wear comfortable shoes to work and change when I get there.

Yep, definitely denial, conf, I refuse to be old (or even middle-aged):Dfiveyearplan wrote: »I have to face facts - some point in the next few years I will turn middle aged. I don't know how it happens or what signs to look for. But which point, FYP? You're as old (or young) as you feel nowadays. I'm all for the "60 is the new 40" motto:D

I refuse to be old or middle age too which is why I've done so much research! I feel young (most days!) even my mother is still young and she's in her 60's (thinking about it, maybe it was her that said 60 is the new 40!). Its all a state of mind which is why I'm still trying...solventsoon wrote: »Yep, definitely denial, conf, I refuse to be old (or even middle-aged):D
