now they need a part and the shop is closed!

doesn't help that on the 23/12/ i gave my notice to leave  they asked me had I broken the boiler - lucky the damage is deep inside and they have said its not deliberate!

Good job he doesn't require sugar as well. :rotfl:;)

I'm feeling chuffed today. Last winter I missed out on all the subsidised loft insulation at B&Q, and being quite tight nowadays, I refused to pay full price, knowing that it would come down again at some point. Well today I got it!! It took 2 trips (luckily not too far!) and I had to put one of the rolls up in the front seat with me (hubby was driving), it felt like I had my own fully deflated airbag :rotfl::rotfl:

So the plan is to put it in the loft tomorrow - I'll post back if it actually gets done. While I was in the loft today I saw some coving still in its packaging that we bought, must have been about 8 years ago now, and also some laminate flooring that has to be getting on for at least 6 years. :o

I did my insulation the other week - buy one get two free from Focus, and then my 10% homemover discount, plus they'd cocked up the previous offer (which was BOGOF) and so it took another chunk off....all my insulation (top up only) for £15!!!

absolute bargain!!!....and I got the ex to do it for me...RESULT :j

I'm not feeling so chuffed now TQ! You definitely got a better bargain than I did but I figure it will pay for itself before the end of winter with heating savings - or atleast I won't be so cold.
